Complaints submitted to the Town will be dealt with promptly and resolved in an expeditious manner in accordance with the Public Complaint Policy CA 190. A final response or update will be provided by Town staff with clear and understandable reasons regarding any outcome or decisions determined as a result.
Please Note: Any service requests related to boulevard and public property maintenance, including grass-cutting, snow shoveling, trees/parks maintenance, and sidewalks/roads maintenance should be submitted to pw.operations@whitby.ca.
Complaints related to by-law infractions such as noise, parking, animal control or garbage/recycling should be submitted via the By-law Services Complaint Form on the Town's By-laws Page.
Please record all complaint details to your knowledge: relevant background, who was involved (if known), dates, times, and locations. Be as detailed as possible. You may attach supporting documents as necessary.
Note: If you have suffered a loss for which you believe the Town may be responsible, please follow the process to file a claim with the Town as this does not qualify as a public complaint.
