Walks Runs or Cycle Permit Application

Please complete the full application and submit with required documents.

The 2024 Special Events User Guide will provide important items and guidelines that an event organizer needs to consider before and during the planning process. The guide outlines and provides contacts for municipal, provincial and federal regulations, by-laws and legislation to help you operate a successful event.

Please note the following timelines when submitting your application:

• 30 days in advance of the event if fewer than 100 people per day are expected
• 60 days in advance of the event if between 100 and 500 people per day are expected
• 90 days in advance of the event if between 500 and 5,000 people per day are expected
• 120 days in advance of the event (at least) if more than 5,000 people per day are expected

Payment of a Special Events Permit fee is required when submitting this application and there is a payment form as one of your last steps in the application process.
