Commemorative Tree and Bench Program Application

The Commemorative Tree and Bench Program is one way for you to commemorate or celebrate a cherished moment, event, person, or send an uplifting message.

Trees, benches, and plaques will be installed in the spring and fall of each year. Applications received from September 1 – March 31 will be installed in the spring. Applications received from April 1 – August 31 will be installed in the fall. Fees subject to increase on an annual basis beginning April 1 of each year.

Please Note: By selecting one of the Town’s existing benches and trees available for dedication, your request may be completed faster.

Tip and reminders:

Indicate upper and lowercase letters where desired, and carefully check spelling and dates.
Bench and Tree plaques are 4 x 8 inches. Select this link for example plaque wording.
Commemorative tree plaques should include the tree species at the top of the plaque (common and scientific name).
The maximum length of text is 7 lines with approximately 35 characters per line, including spaces.
The minimum text height size is 8mm (measured using capital letter H), Arial font only, and text must be mixed case not all capitals.
